“If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever - the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you." - John 14:15-18

Statement of Faith

  • We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of man, and that all are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God's grace through faith alone are we saved (John 3:16-19; 5:24, Romans 3:23; 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5).
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are not unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29).
  • We believe that Christians are to be the example of the love of God in this world (I John 4:16-17).
  • We believe it is the mandate of the whole Church to go into the whole world and to preach the Gospel, with a pure motive of love, to every living creature and to make Disciples. (Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:19-20)
  • We believe in the mandate of the universal and local Church (1 Corinthians 12:12-20), which is made up of those who have repented of their sins, confessed Christ as Lord, and by this, His covenant people are made new in Christ. All members of the Church universal are to be a vital and committed part of a local church, called to community and fellowship to fulfill the Great Commission (Mark 16:15), (Matthew 28:18-20) and the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-39) to worship Christ through the preaching of the Word, observance of the sacraments and prayer. It is through this means that we continue the redemptive work of Christ in the power of His Holy Spirit. We express the evidence of our obedience to Christ by coming under mutual accountability in this fellowship by holy living, evangelism, discipleship and service.
