Prayer Stop - Daily Prayer

Posted by Darrel Rundus on

Prayer Stop PrayerLord, we lift up a prayer for our brothers and sisters who have forsaken the assembling of believers because they have been hurt. While we do understand what it's like to be hurt, we also know that we do not live unto man, but unto you, God. Our hope, faith, and trust are not found in other people but in Christ. We pray that you would convict the hearts of those who have left the church or even the faith, Holy Spirit, because of hurt they suffered within the church walls. Perhaps someone sinned against them and hurt them badly. We pray that they would find forgiveness for the one who has offended them. Wrap your arms of love around them, Lord, for we know you are near to the brokenhearted. However, convict us when we wallow in grief or react wrongly when we are hurt, or blame you for the offense of man. As the saying goes, two wrongs don't make a right. Jesus taught us to turn the other cheek. Your word also has a lot to say about the unity of believers and the importance of gathering together. We want to walk the walk you desire us to, Lord, and be more like Christ. Like him, may we serve and love others and prioritize relationships with our fellow believers as Paul discusses in his New Testament letters. May we forgive, let go, and let God! Unite us once again, Lord! Bring our wandering brothers and sisters back into the fold. May we be kind and tenderhearted towards one another, loving one another and forgiving one another, bearing with one another in love. In Jesus' name we pray, amen! ‪#‎PrayerStop‬ ‪#‎Church‬‪#‎Forgiveness‬ ‪#‎Unity‬
